Visit from RMIT chiropractic students

In July 2008, Lom Orng hosted a group of final year Chiropractic students who came to Cambodia to treat students at our Battambang vocational training centre.

The group examined and treated over 50 students in the few days spent there, gaining invaluable experience for themselves, and giving the students some much-needed care.

Due to the injuries they had sustained, most trainees were suffering from some sort of back or neck pain which they had put up with for many years.

The LOM ORNG ORGANISATION students and staff were extremely grateful for the chance to receive such specialised care, and hope future visits from RMIT groups are possible. The Chiropractic students were extremely grateful for the hospitality shown by LOM ORNG ORGANISATION staff, and for the opportunity to treat cases not likely to be seen in their clinics back home.

A big thankyou must go to the LOM ORNG ORGANISATION staff for giving the RMIT students this wonderful opportunity, and to Dr Navine Haworth and Dr Ben Tipper for organising the Australian students to come.
